Bio

Indrani Sen is a Bengali Indian exponent of Rabindra Sangeet and Bengali songs. She studied at the Bengal Music College, a music training college affiliated with the University of Calcutta. The daughter of the singer Sumitra Sen, she trained in Rabindra Sangeet under the singer Debabrata Biswas, and subsequently received training in classical music from Bibhuti Dutta, and in Nazrul Geeti from Purabi Dutta. She has sung several songs for films including "Premer Kahini" (1955), "Nadiya Ke Paar" (1960) by Ajoy Kar; "Khandana Khola Thake.
